Employee Benefits Assistant - Remote - California

*REMOTE for California residents ONLY*

We are looking for an Employee Benefits Assistant to join a growing insurance agency in California! This agency has been providing top-tier insurance services for over 50 years! This company is looking for someone who has Employee Benefits experience, an active Life & Health license (or is willing to obtain one once employed), and looking for growth!

The Position:

• Assist Account Managers
• Reviews and checks policies, endorsements, audits, certificate
• Prepare presentations, proposals, summaries, and schedules of coverage for clients
• Assists with preparations and proposals for clients
• Review and input applications and create letters and other forms of correspondence
• Review contracts and client accounting history and inquiries

What we need from you:

• Experience - You have 1-2+ years of employee benefits, claims processing, and insurance brokerage experience
• Knowledge - You are very knowledgeable of insurance products, markets, ratings, and underwriting procedures
• Licensed - You currently have your Life & Health License or are willing to obtain one once employed
• Software - You are familiar with Applied EPIC, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other database management systems
