Description

Under the direction of the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Maintenance Director, perform a variety of grounds maintenance and gardening duties in the beautification of assigned grounds and landscaped areas.

Requirements

• Apply landscape principles, basic irrigation repair, troubleshooting and installation, operation of landscape related equipment and all safety rules and precautions required.
• Use and instruct in the use of various types of hand tools and landscape equipment.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing in English. Ability to read charts, fill out forms and maintain records.
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or closely related field sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge of abilities listed above.
  
  Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
• Valid California driver's license and insurable on company policy required
