We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) to join our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business operations strategies.
  2. Optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  3. Manage departments such as payroll, A/R, A/P, H/R, and project compliance.
  4. Ensure cross-functional alignment across the company.
  5. Set operational performance metrics and track progress.
  6. Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  7. Oversee hiring, training, and employee performance.
  8. Foster a strong company culture and ensure employee engagement.
  9. Provide data-driven financial insights to support decision-making.
  10. Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls.
  11. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  12. Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses.
  13. Communicate financial performance to Corporate Officers.
  14. Collaborate with the CEO on business strategies.
  15. Collaborate with the CEO on business growth and expansion.

Operational Support

  1. Partner with heads of departments to optimize production, efficiency, cost management, and resource allocation.
  2. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial health and operational efficiency.
  3. Lead and mentor various departments to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  4. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Strategic Leadership

  1. Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to drive long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
  3. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  4. Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  5. Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment strategies to support operational and strategic goals.
  6. Provide accurate financial reports and insights to the executive team, board of directors, and stakeholders.

Risk Management and Compliance

  1. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
  2. Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  3. Identify and mitigate financial risks impacting the organization.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  1. Prior experience in construction management is essential.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  3. Progressive financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO, COO, or senior executive.
  4. Industry experience in construction, pipeline services, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  2. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Expertise in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  5. Deep understanding of corporate finance, operations, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
