Corporate Security Officer - Full Time (Project Management)

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is a rapidly growing company currently hiring an Unarmed Security Officer. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure and we're looking for a strong Security Officer to work in a retail environment. We are a national security service provider licensed in 47 states.

ON THE JOB, SECURITY OFFICER:

• Foot Patrol & Stand post up to 8 hours per shift
• Greet customers/ employees.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Follow post orders
• Watch CCTV camera system and notate accurately in a daily activity report.
• Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:

• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.
• High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness
• Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.
• Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Active California Guard Card with 8hrs powers to arrest training certificates - REQUIRED.
• Guard Card 32hrs training certificates - PREFERRED
• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service/ security position
• Have a solid/stable work history in the past 6 years, no more than 3 jobs, supplemental jobs acceptable.
• Background screening required.
• Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS.
