Description:

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with an ultra-luxury resort in the Palm Springs area to source a hands-on Director of Human Resources who will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a proactive champion for team members. This highly visible role is critical to supporting a refined, service-focused culture while ensuring alignment with HR best practices, compliance standards, and organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Partner closely with department leaders to provide strategic guidance and day-to-day support for employee development, team engagement, and performance management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns, investigations, and disciplinary matters—ensuring fair and compliant resolution in alignment with California labor law.
  • Refine and implement HR processes, SOPs, and training programs that align with the resort's luxury service standards.
  • Oversee and support onboarding programs to ensure new team members are effectively integrated into the culture.
  • Manage legal compliance, risk mitigation, and HR documentation across all departments.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support recruitment efforts, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Foster a workplace environment rooted in trust, accountability, and world-class hospitality.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of HR leadership experience, ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end service environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Proven success in employee relations, training, onboarding, and implementing HR processes.
  • Highly approachable, organized, and empathetic with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in the Palm Springs area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
