Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager to lead our boutique luxury 4-star hotel in Palm Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving profitable performance. You will lead a dedicated team, manage day-to-day operations, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service quality, optimize revenue, and maintain our reputation as a premier luxury destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure adherence to brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Guest Experience: Develop and implement guest service protocols that exceed the expectations of our discerning clientele. Oversee guest relations, resolve issues promptly, and continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage the hotel's annual budget, oversee revenue management strategies, monitor performance against KPIs, and drive cost-control initiatives to meet financial targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across all departments. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused work culture and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to design and execute local marketing campaigns and special events, maximizing occupancy and revenue.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and labor regulations. Maintain quality standards consistent with a boutique luxury 4-star brand.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead long-term strategic planning efforts to identify opportunities for growth, enhance operational efficiencies, and maintain competitive market positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5+ years of management experience in a luxury hotel or boutique hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record in operational leadership, guest service excellence, and financial management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and revenue management systems.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to multitask and manage complex operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
