They have revenues in excess of $ 16m. *Description* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This position will offer the chance to contribute to the oversight of accounting operations across North America while playing a key role in financial reporting and day-to-day transactional processing. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role will also involve close collaboration with outsourced accounting teams to maintain accurate books for both the US and international subsidiaries. Main duties and responsibiltiies include the following: * Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of account reconciliations. * Assist in the month-end close process, preparing financial statements and supporting documentation. * Collaborate with external bookkeeping teams to ensure accurate and timely customer billing. * Verify and approve vendor and contractor invoices, ensuring proper coding and accuracy. * Aid in the collection of outstanding customer payments. * Prepare financial reports including budget vs. actual comparisons and cash flow projections. * Support the annual audit process, providing necessary information to external tax experts for quarterly and yearly filings. * Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy. * Provide analytical support to leadership by creating custom financial reports as needed.
