Centura Wealth Advisory is hiring a Director of Portfolio Solutions. In this role, you will drive organic and inorganic Assets Under Management (AUM) growth initiatives, provide investment support, train and develop Investment Advisors, and secure new business to contribute to the organization's growth. You will collaborate with the Investment Department and report to the CIO, creating training materials and collateral that align with the firm's philosophy and assisting in delivering these solutions to clients. As a key player in new client engagements, you will partner with Consulting Teams to ensure Investment Advisors provide expert investment management services for both new and existing clients. Additionally, you will focus on client satisfaction by achieving their financial goals through optimized investment portfolios, thereby increasing AUM, winning new mandates, and retaining clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading organic and inorganic AUM growth initiatives.
  • Managing and owning the team's portfolio proposal process, including creating proposals and supporting client deliverables. Presenting and recommending solutions to clients.
  • Serving as a player/coach to drive AUM growth through hiring, training, and developing Investment Advisors.
  • Participating in recruiting external investment advisors and leading onboarding and portfolio conversion processes.
  • Analyzing client investment portfolios to identify gaps and provide solutions.
  • Implementing approved client proposals and managing the investment process lifecycle.
  • Managing opportunities within CRM and technology systems, identifying new investment offerings, and presenting them to clients and prospects.
  • Developing investment collateral and educational materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participating in client meetings as the investment expert, aligning portfolios with client objectives and firm philosophy.
  • Staying informed of industry changes and seeking new strategies to benefit clients.
  • Providing leadership within the Investment Department and across the firm.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and growing AUM.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative investments.
  • Ability to create and present client deliverables effectively.
  • Existing relationships with professionals serving High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Ability to design and improve processes to support growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
  • 7+ years of financial services sales experience.
  • Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, CFP, CIMA, or MBA are preferred or willingness to obtain them.

Required skills include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in sales and strategy execution, and familiarity with relevant software such as Orion, brokerage interfaces, and market databases.
