Description:

Apex Systems is hiring multiple Electromagnetic Technicians to join our electronic repair and services client in Palm Springs, CA. We are looking to screen and interview qualified candidates as early as this week. Compensation : $28/hr (overtime rate of $42/hr when applicable) Schedule : M-F 10-hour shifts, 50 hours expected per week Benefits : Health, dental, vision, 401k, and a weekly pay structureFor immediate consideration, please send resume to Sam Wade, Sr. Professional Recruiter ( [email protected] ) with the subject "Electromagnetic Technician" Responsibilities:Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresComplete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentationLead and audit preventative maintenance proceduresCreate and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts usedDevelop training plansTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and moreMaintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facilityTrack and store department inventoryMove up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodationRequired Skills:2+ years of Electro-mechanical experience2 year Degree or equivalent trainingAble to use hand toolsStrong communication skillsRequirements:Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience with automated systems and controls3+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment3+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures3+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading3+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principlesExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standardsProject Management experienceExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenanceAble to troubleshoot basic input and output functions?
