Overview: As a Lead Retail Sales Associate, you will be pivotal in ensuring our retail store operates smoothly. You'll lead a dynamic team of sales associates, provide outstanding customer service, and drive sales to meet and exceed store targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and inspire a team of sales associates, offering guidance and support.
    • Schedule and assign tasks to team members for efficient store operations.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Assist in training new sales associates and promote a positive work environment.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Offer product knowledge and personalized recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
    • Resolve customer complaints swiftly and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed.
  3. Sales and Target Achievement:
    • Drive sales by actively engaging customers and promoting products.
    • Meet or exceed both individual and team sales targets.
    • Monitor sales trends and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the store manager to formulate strategies that boost sales and customer satisfaction.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Assist in receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise stock.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and support stock management efforts.
    • Ensure products are accurately priced and labeled.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a retail sales role with a record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
