We are seeking a Plumber in Training for the Plumbing Multifamily Division to join our team!
You'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning essential skills and techniques to ensure the efficient installation of plumbing systems in multifamily residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
Assist experienced plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in multifamily buildings.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and building codes related to plumbing systems.
Help with the assembly and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
Support the identification and resolution of plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages.
Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on plumbing systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Attend training sessions and workshops to gain knowledge and skills in plumbing practices.
Provide assistance in testing plumbing systems for leaks and proper functioning.
Document work performed and communicate progress and issues to supervisors and team members.
Willingness to work OT when required
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of plumbing tools and equipment
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments
Willingness to travel to different job sites within the multifamily division
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong interest in plumbing and willingness to learn
Ability to handle physical workload of 50 pounds
