Human Resources Director
Annual salary range: $155,361 to $210,185
Benefits include CalPERS retirement, generous leave and executive benefits.

The City of Banning is seeking a dynamic and approachable Human Resources Director to lead its Human Resources & Risk Management Department. Reporting to the City Manager, this role will oversee labor relations, classification and compensation, employee engagement, risk management, and modernization of HR systems for a workforce of 270 employees across multiple bargaining units.

Job Requirements

• Experienced in public sector HR and California labor relations
• Confident, approachable, and skilled in navigating complex political environments

• SHRM certification and advanced degree preferred
