Handyman to have (6) plus years health care related construction experience with significant skills in the following: Finished carpentry, rough carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, HVAC repair/ maintenance and operations, plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring (carpet tile, VCT, ceramic tile), Acrovyn installation, tenant improvements, doors/ hardware, minor equipment repair, masonry, concrete, anchoring, landscaping and irrigation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • (6) plus years construction experience
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and internet software
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus (read, write, speak)
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work overtime
  • Team player with good communication and customer service skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a combination of the following duties:

  • Must be a self-starter, able to effectively analyze and solve repair and maintenance and construction issues.
  • Must be able to execute a wide and scale of construction projects.
  • Must have a commitment to quality work, neat and organized, accomplished efficiently and quickly.
  • Ability to deal with a wide variety of daily tasks often under deadline.
  • Comfortable in our communities.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and other work-related events as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned or may be modified as business needs dictate.
