Supports the anesthesiologists for routine and complex surgical cases including general, regional and monitored anesthesia care patients. Assists with invasive and non-invasive monitoring. On-call is a requirement of this position and the post holder will be expected to provide anesthesia technician support at all locations where anesthesia is administered. Job Description:Education: Preferred: Associates degree Licensure/ Certification: Required: American Heart Association BLS Preferred: Anesthesia Technician Certification Experience: Required: Two (2) years of experience in the operating room, sterile processing, a certified/licensed direct patient care role or certification for anesthesia technicians through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) in lieu of experience, if hired after January 1, 2023 Preferred: Experience in healthcare procedural department.
