About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Business Development to lead partnership strategy, drive market adoption, and establish key collaborations with technology providers, enterprise clients, and ecosystem partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape the go-to-market strategy, drive partner engagement, and position OpenInfer as a key player in the AI inference landscape.

Responsibilities:

1. Partnership & Market Expansion
   1. Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with AI model developers, cloud providers, hardware vendors, and enterprise clients.
   2. Define partnership roadmaps, build joint go-to-market strategies, and execute co-development initiatives.
   3. Establish OpenInfer's presence in the AI ecosystem through alliances with silicon partners (AMD, Intel, Nvidia), AI model providers (Hugging Face, Mistral), and application platforms (Adobe, Figma, Miro, Netflix, etc.).
   4. Explore and structure OEM, licensing, and revenue-sharing models that drive long-term growth.
2. Sales & Business Growth
   1. Own the business development pipeline, focusing on enterprise AI adoption, embedded AI solutions, and strategic accounts.
   2. Lead partner engagement, onboarding, and enablement, ensuring seamless integration of OpenInfer's technology into partner ecosystems.
   3. Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, expanding OpenInfer's reach across industry verticals (enterprise AI, edge computing, consumer AI applications).
   4. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to align business objectives with technical roadmaps and customer needs.
3. Go-To-Market Leadership
   1. Define market positioning and lead partner marketing initiatives with key stakeholders.
   2. Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape OpenInfer's business strategy and revenue models.
   3. Develop thought leadership content, attend industry events, and establish OpenInfer as a leader in AI inference.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales (startup experience preferred).
2. Proven success in building and scaling partnerships in AI, cloud, or hardware/software industries.
3. Strong negotiation skills, with experience structuring enterprise deals, licensing agreements, and co-development partnerships.
4. Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value propositions.
5. AI, ML, or edge computing knowledge is a plus but not required.
