The Opportunity

This position is part of our Abbott Diabetes Care Division, focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health through life-changing products. We're revolutionizing glucose monitoring with our FreeStyle Libre platform — the world's #1 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solution.

We are seeking an energetic and driven Platform Product Manager to join our Product and Innovation group. This team is responsible for software and hardware products and services that expand and enhance the FreeStyle Libre platform. A key part of this role involves managing and evolving our marketing technology stack, including Braze, to deliver personalized, data-driven customer engagement.

This is a fully on-site role in our main Alameda, CA site OR you can choose to work from our Milpitas, CA office as well.

What You'll Work On

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for platform capabilities, including APIs, data services, shared services, and integrations with tools like Braze.
• Design and maintain a flexible platform architecture that supports dynamic customer journeys, real-time events, and behavioral triggers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, privacy, regulatory, and commercial teams to define requirements and deliver scalable platform solutions.
• Partner with product designers to integrate platform capabilities into the product experience.
• Own and manage the platform backlog, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
• Analyze campaign performance, usage patterns, and platform adoption — leveraging Braze analytics and reporting — to inform future improvements and training needs.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and customer engagement platforms.
• Advocate for the platform and train internal stakeholders on new features and capabilities, including those within Braze.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience or MBA with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Experience building and shipping software platform products at scale.
• Strong technical aptitude; ability to engage deeply with engineers and make tradeoff decisions based on technical constraints.
• Experience working in highly cross-functional organizations.
• Highly organized, focused, and committed to achieving goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or integrating customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; proactive and resourceful with a “can do” attitude.
• Innovative and able to think openly, broadly, and strategically.
• Strong analytical skills; able to draw conclusions from data, management information, and trends.
• Thrives under pressure with tight deadlines on several initiatives simultaneously.
• Understanding of delivering digital products in a regulated environment.
• Ability to lead/manage program budgets, create and manage purchase orders and scope of work documents with procurement.
• Previous experience working in a medical or regulated industry is a plus.

The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 – $256,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
