Duties / Responsibilities: Assist installation and other teams with customer activation of fiber-optic telecommunication in subscriber homes (e.g., pulling low-voltage wire); including single family, condo and apartments in various locations. Install and service full video services, including analog, digital, and HD TV. Install, service, and disconnect telephone and internet customers; punch down telephone lines. Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies, which includes practicing safe driving techniques. Install all types of CAT 5/ CAT 6 drop wire and install connectors on CAT 5/ CAT 6 drop wire. Install conduits and distribution wires. Troubleshoot video, telephone, internet, RF radios, omni directional antennas problems from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment. Successfully install all ancillary equipment provided to subscribers. Test and tone all wires from equipment room to outlet.
