Description

The Senior Consultant role involved assisting sponsors and trustees of pension funds, endowments, foundations and other large institutional and high net worth asset pools make thoughtful and prudent decisions regarding the investment of the funds under their care.

Responsibilities

• Providing investment advice to a wide range of institutional clients on both traditional and cutting edge investment topics ranging from asset allocation and the development of investment policy to alternative investment strategies and their successful implementation.
• Managing all aspects of the consulting relationship, both external and internal, including defining objectives, asset allocation, investment policy, manager research and performance evaluation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, prospect and internal colleagues.
• Organize and lead efforts to market the firm's services and expand our business.
• Maintain marketplace visibility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or mathematics and a minimum of 12+ years investment industry experience. Higher education credentials, including CFA Charter participation and / or an MBA can offset less experience. Experience in accounting, compliance, and general investments are desired. The candidate must have strong attention to detail with good time-management, communication, and computer skills. Familiarity with quantitative financial techniques is required.

The current salary range for this position is $150,500 to $200,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
