Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright

Express Employment of San Bernardino is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright with strong mechanical and electrical experience to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance-related fields including computer-operated machines, industrial electrical, and welding.
• Experience with pump and motor repair.
• Licensed Millwright preferred.
• Plumbing experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs minimum and stand/walk for long periods.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and transition from day shift training to night shift.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as needed.
• Respond to and complete emergency repairs and adjustments while production is running.
• Conduct smooth and efficient equipment changeovers.
• Modify or fabricate equipment to improve production reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum uptime and product quality.
• Maintain off-site facilities and plant operations as required.
• Complete and maintain accurate shift maintenance logs.
• Oversee the start-up and shutdown of plant equipment daily.
• Work safely around equipment that may involve chemicals (caustic, acids, ammonia).
• Be available for on-call emergency support.
