Overview

Senior Product Specialist at SAP America, Inc. located in San Francisco, CA. Responsible for the success, quality, costs, and delivery of a business software solution product as defined in the portfolio.

Expectations and Tasks

• Translate product strategy into a roadmap and backlog in partnership with the development manager.
• Partner with User Experience (UX) to ensure an intuitive, valuable user experience.
• Work with Engineering to define feature scope, establish acceptance criteria, and accurately size and refine stories aligned with the product vision and roadmap.
• Ensure the product is configurable, deployable, usable, and supported; maintain reliability, cost-efficiency, and SAP platform compliance.
• Monitor product adoption, usage telemetry, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, manage uncertainties, and adapt plans to meet product satisfaction KPIs.
• Stay aware of competitor landscape, technological innovations, and customer sentiment.
• Evaluate feedback from stakeholders and team members and act accordingly.
• Ensure technical training, onboarding, and adoption processes meet customer requirements.
• Engage with early adopter customers to establish MVP criteria and ensure UX and production-ready performance before release.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, with six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields with four (4) years of experience.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

• Two (2) years in Designing applications for business; and
• Two (2) years in creating product rollout content for enablement, including PowerPoint presentations and videos.
• One (1) year in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and BTP tools;
• One (1) year in SAP Analytics Cloud;
• One (1) year in building product vision and integration concepts using MURAL; and
• One (1) year in performing acceptance QA testing and exploratory testing.

Salary information: Compensation Range Transparency indicates an annual base salary range for this position of $174,637 - $234,344, with a broader indicative range up to $266,300 depending on various factors.
