The Madison Club Member Services Assistant

The Madison Club is hiring for Member Services Assistant. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of Member Services to provide an unparalleled experience and service to our members and guests. The Madison Club is open during the winter & spring season, and this role will be for a full time, seasonal need from October- June. Preferred candidates will have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekends & holidays, and understand that time off requests will not be honored during March or April (key event/festival months). The ideal candidate for this role must have an outgoing personality, enjoy building relationships, engaging in conversation, and consistently maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily operation of Member Services.
  • Assist with reservations, itineraries, travel, entertainment tickets, and general requests.
  • Maintain game room, movie theater, and an organized workspace while assisting members and guests.
  • Answer incoming Club phones and transfer where needed.
  • Assist with promoting Club events. Create invitations or fliers to distribute to membership regarding Club events.
  • Assist members with specific questions and requests.
  • Update member profiles.
  • Greet members and guests by their last name.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of hospitality experience, customer service and telephone experience.
  • Must have an outgoing & well-spoken personality be able to clearly interact verbally with members and guests.
  • Must be responsible, dependable, outgoing, and friendly, as well as patient and courteous with members/guests and other co-workers.
  • Must be able to take direction and complete tasks without the need for managerial follow-up.
  • Applicant must be efficient, detail-oriented.
  • Applicant must have strong communications skills.
  • Applicant must be self-motivated without supervision and able to think on their feet.
  • Must learn member names and use them in greeting members.
  • Must have professional appearance and grooming.
  • Must follow dress code/uniform policies.
  • Operate a computer, fax, copier, and other office equipment.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Email, and a willingness to learn new computer programs that the Club utilizes.
  • May be required to lift objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit or be on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Must be prepared to go above and beyond normal expectations on a daily basis as pertaining to the membership and their requests.
