Chief Operations Officer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Introduction

Our client, a pioneering company in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, is seeking a visionary Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join their leadership team in Northern NJ. This pivotal role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional quality, compliance, and efficiency. Working closely with the CEO and executive team, you'll play a critical role in shaping strategy, expanding infrastructure, and advancing their ambitious commercialization goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including FDA, EMA, GMP, and GCP.
  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability while maintaining world-class quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D and commercial teams to bring innovative therapies to market.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve excellence.
  • Provide strategic operational and financial insights to the CEO and Board.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in pharma/biopharma operations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including GMP, GCP, FDA, and EMA.
  • Proven success scaling operations and supporting product launches.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
