We are seeking a PART-TIME Facility Maintenance Specialist to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to maintain our buildings and property. Starting pay is $20 per hour, plus tips, which amount to an additional $2-$3 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings

Ability to provide all typical property maintenance requirements

Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion, reporting through Google Sheets and verbal communication with management.

Create order lists and replace broken parts or equipment

Repair any drywall damage and ensure building repairs are appropriately painted

Repair and replace damaged linoleum flooring

Repair and replace plexiglass doors

Repair and replace damaged fencing

Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Ability to assess maintenance needs based on repair requests, formulate a plan, and follow through until completion as directed by management.

Must love dogs, cats, and birds.

Must understand that the safety and security of pets in our care is of utmost importance.

Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of previous experience in maintenance or other related fields

Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to take direction

Willingness and ability to complete daily reports and respond to maintenance requests through Google Sheets spreadsheets
