Information Technology Manager

A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Information Technology Project Management team collaborates with PwC practice leaders to develop and deliver technology solutions. We provide project management oversight and collaborate with various project resources and vendors to ensure the appropriate methodology is followed, deliverable quality is high, and satisfaction is achieved. Simply put, you'll solve business problems using technology, work with multiple teams concurrently, and be able to take pride in end to end ownership of a project.

Minimum Degree Required:

High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:

4 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT project management and strategy development.

  • Understanding Project Management tools such as ServiceNow, MS Project, G Suite collaboration tools;

  • Working with leadership to integrate planning across multiple technology pillars including development of high-level pillar strategy operational plans;
  • Addressing requests from team leaders for operational information across multiple pillars;
  • Developing messaging for communications;
  • Preparing presentations designed to inform and influence leadership, stakeholders, committees etc.;
  • Completing administrative and organizational deliverables in a prompt manner;
  • Influencing project team members to identify and address project issues, including leadership and interdependent teams;
  • Promoting and influencing self-directed teams by enabling transparent and clear communications;
  • Managing internal and external project resources;
  • Applying knowledge of the Firm to the Project Management activities to comply with Firm policies and standards;
  • Promoting the use of collaboration tools like Meet, Web-ex, G Suite and team databases;
  • Leading and managing documentation projects and team;
  • Working with a team of technical writers to deliver documentation projects that are technically accurate and of high quality;
  • Managing and leading multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with other writers;
  • Conferring with subject matter specialists and product managers to establish technical specifications and to determine subject matter to be developed for publication;
  • Displaying research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter specialists, product managers) to develop content;
  • Completing writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology;
  • Liaising with local and remote writing teams and subject matter specialists in the development of assigned documentation;
  • Reviewing product design and UI and revise UI messages;
  • Interviewing various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation, working with product management, product support, marketing, other SMEs to clarify business requirements and documentation assignments;
  • Researching and translating technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users; and,
  • Analyzing and prioritizing technical feedback from various audiences and driving necessary changes into documentation or products.
