Senior/Staff/Lead Python Platform Engineer

Profitable B2B SaaS company with our teams based in North America, but this role is remote from Canada. We're only open to Senior+ Devs who don't require relocation and are eligible to work in Canada :)

About You

We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead (Python) Platform Engineer who wants to play a core role on our platform team (not applications). This role is 100% back end.

Example Responsibilities:

• Query Layer Service: Work on a microservice offering a unified API across popular data warehouses.
• Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.
• Export Service: Develop scalable microservice for transferring data to destination platforms.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience building and scaling services in Python
• 4+ years Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
• Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
• Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline
• Experience owning an application end-to-end and can understand and address infrastructure concerns
