The Payer Enrollment Specialist position will be responsible for supporting the CPU Team by identifying, initiating, monitoring, and maintaining enrollment requirements set forth by payers, payer intermediaries, and clearinghouses regarding electronic remittance advice (ERA), electronic funds transfers (EFT), and payer portal access.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enroll payors in EDI, ERA, and EFT
  • Follow up with payors to troubleshoot submitted enrollments not yet approved
  • Analyze and evaluate bank lockbox activity for direct EFT opportunities
  • Identifying payers funding thru alternative payment methods (e.g. virtual credit cards) and convert to preferred ACH payment method
  • Troubleshooting and escalation of issues with CPU leadership, clients, and vendors
  • Completing, coordinating, and routing implementation documents between the organization and clients for review
  • Maintains documentation and reporting regarding payer enrollments in process
  • Completing timely follow up on all payer enrollment applications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or greater
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare payer enrollment

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, advanced in Excel
