Hello, If you are looking for a pleasant, friendly working environment in Yucca Valley, California, we are searching for a qualified housekeeper to clean our home. We are in our mid 60s, searching for an honest, reliable, conscientious and responsible housekeeper to clean our home (I guess all four adjectives are saying the same thing). We have employed housekeepers for over 35 years, and save one or two, they have all been wonderful.
The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, general rooms, and refrigerator. This includes all General Housekeeping. Floors and dishes need to be the first priority. We also hope that the housekeeper would be one that can see something that needs to be done, and does it, without being specifically instructed. We have one very small dog (Bogie), very friendly (after the first 20 seconds of barking). We just recently lost his brother, so Bogie has been a bit melancholy lately. Bogie has been with us for almost 15 years.
We have a lot of cleaning equipment and supplies, so there is no need to supply anything of your own. We are always willing to order anything you need.
Due to the somewhat chaotic condition of the house, this is probably not a typical housekeeping job. I do not mean to imply that it is drastically different, I just want you to be aware that it may not be what you might expect, if you are use to a perfect, well-ordered home, we wish it were, it just has not yet come out that way. We are hoping that the housekeeper can help in that regard.
To be a bit more specific, we recently moved into this house, so we are still living in a minor disaster area. As I said, we are hoping that the housekeeper will be able to help with the organization of our home as well. We are open to pretty much any type of regular schedule. The hours and days that we put in the job listing profile are just as a base reference. With varying parameters, we can do almost anything, however, this position can easily be close to a full time position if interested in that. There are always things to do, from organizing the house, to some basic outside work, and all kinds of things in-between, that will be up to you. The primary functions are the floors, the dishes, and the bathrooms; pretty much in that order. We can go into more detail, if and when we talk.
