Of Position. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:Operates sandblasting machines for removal of scale, flux, corrosion, and dirt from metal parts by use of abrasives made through a hose at high velocity by compressed air. Use of a SAR respirator is required. Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material. Uses hand tools, hoist/crane, power tools and pneumatic tools as a process of job junction. Brush paints, spray paints or dips a variety of parts or products in coating vehicles. Use of half-mask respirator is required. Bakes coated parts in oven to preheat workpieces, and to harden the finish. Dries/cures parts in accordance with specifications. Identifies and reports defective parts. Pre inspect the work area for safety. Observes and follows all safety regulations and company policies.
