The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization to patients seeking routine care and critical health insights. This role is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and delivering a positive patient experience. The PSR I combines phlebotomy expertise with strong customer service skills while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily patient service and specimen collection activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties
Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures to patients
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper handling of patient information
Maintain required records and documentation
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public
Perform duties with a strong focus on process excellence, safety, and compliance
Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required)
Experience performing pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy
Keyboarding and data entry experience
Nice-to-Have Experience
One or more years of phlebotomy experience
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment

Work Schedule
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Pacific Time Zone)
