POSITION OVERVIEW

The Seasonal Credentials Computer Staffare responsible for preparing, printing, and distributing credentials to event personnel, vendors, media, and guests. This position plays an essential role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper access levels, and providing professional customer service throughout the credentialing process.

Shifts will vary as follows:

  • December 2025, between 24 to 30 hours a week
  • January and February 2026, 30+ hours a week
  • Mandatory Orientation (no exceptions): Sunday, February 15, 9am - 1pm
  • March 1 - 15, 2026, shifts available 6 am - 4pm, 7am - 5pm, 8am - 6pm, 9am - 7pm, and 10am - 8pm


Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and print event credentials according to approved access lists *

• Distribute credentials to authorized individuals and verify identification when required *

• Enter and update credential data in the computer system with accuracy and attention to detail *

• Assist in organizing and maintaining credential inventory and supplies *

• Communicate effectively with event departments to confirm access levels and resolve discrepancies *

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service to staff, vendors, and guests picking up credentials *

• Support the setup and breakdown of the Credentials Office before and after the event *

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to access and credentials *

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the credentials manager

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Required

• Current or prior experience in customer service a plus

• Current or prior experience in office setting a plus

• Credential program training provided

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & OTHER ABILITIES

• Strong computer and data entry skills required

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Previous administrative, customer service, or event experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Must be available to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, during the event period

• Bilingual preferred, not required

REQUIRED LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS

• California Workplace Harassment Prevention certification

• California Workplace Violence Prevention certification

LANGUAGE ABILITY

• Ability to speak effectively with guests, vendors, co-workers, and all organization employees

Ability to speak, read and understand English

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

MATH ABILITY

Ability to apply basic concepts of math

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE

• Basis computer literacy and using hand-held devices

• Time clock and mobile app
