Forest Machine Instructor

Ponnse is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of cut-to-length forest machines. We are focusing on succeeding with our customers and oriented to people. What does a working day look like?

Your duties mainly consist of instructing our customers on how to best use our machines to get the most out of them. It is an advantage if you have natural leadership skills and are pedagogical. You will work mostly independently, but with support and guidance from your instructor colleagues.

The job requires good ability to plan and follow up on your own work. The work is varied and mostly includes coaching methodology training and starting up new and used machines. Your work area is mainly in southern Sweden and possibly Denmark, but jobs can also occur elsewhere in Sweden. This entails a large number of overnight stays.

Part of the job also consists of planning and running demo shows for customers.

• You have forestry-oriented education such as forestry high school or advanced training for machine drivers. You should have extensive experience driving forestry machinery.
• You have a great interest in technology.
• You have a natural talent for teaching others at the right and appropriate level.
• You have very good computer skills and experience with software.
• You thrive best when you have full responsibility for planning your workdays. You are structured and have a strong ability to get the job done with high accuracy.
• Those who meet you perceive you as positive, reliable, and competent. You have an easy time creating and developing good relationships.
• High goals inspire you and you do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves to achieve the best possible results both individually and for common goals.
• You speak and write English relatively fluently.
• You have at least a B-driving license.
