Your Role
• Prepare, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation
• Perform frozen sections and special stains as needed
• Process surgical and cytological specimens following established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation, quality control, and compliance standards
• Utilize laboratory information systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Assist with supply management and block/slide storage

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Histologic Technology program OR one (1) year of on-the-job histology training under a board-certified pathologist
• ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification preferred
• Prior histology technician experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, fine motor skills, and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and basic computer systems
