Strategic Product Thinking*** Align product vision with business goals and market needs.* Develop product strategies that drive value for both users and the business* Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and compliance to create a roadmap* Identify market opportunities and de-risking product ideas through experimentation, voice of customer, and market/competitive research**2. Technical Proficiency & Integration Awareness*** Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies* Knowledge of healthcare SaaS platforms (e.g., EHRs, telemedicine tools)* Ensures interoperability with legacy systems and existing healthcare infrastructure**3. User-Centric Design & Customer Insight*** Conducts user research and usability testing to gather feedback, update requirements, and provide commercial guidance on value proposition* Helps designs intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences* Champion intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences tailored to anesthesia workflows**4. Healthcare Industry Knowledge & Regulatory Acumen*** Familiarity with clinical workflows and terminology* Ability to navigate clinical frameworks and translate to product requirements* Awareness of patient safety and data privacy concerns (PHI)* Maintains general understanding of HIPAA and other compliance standards**5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication*** Serves as the bridge between engineering, design, clinical experts, and business teams.* Leads cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle including refinement and launch* Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders* Align diverse teams around shared goals and manage expectations effectively**Required Qualifications:***Education & Experience** Bachelors degree in: Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field* **35 years** in product management, ideally within SaaS and/or healthcare technology.* Proven track record of launching and iteratively improving digital products.* Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, clinical, compliance).* Experience working in agile environments and managing product backlogs including systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps.* Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analtyics, Gainsight, etc).* Ability to interpret healthcare data and use it to inform product strategy.* Experience working with legal or compliance teams during product development.**Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:*** Familiarity with EHR systems, clinical workflows, or health data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).* Exposure to HIPAA, GDPR, or other healthcare-related compliance frameworks.* Masters degree or certifications in: + Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, General Assembly) + Healthcare Administration or Public Health + MBA with a focus on technology or healthcare + Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or PMI-ACP**Fortive Corporation Overview**Fortives essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
