This is a 13-week contract position with competitive weekly pay up to $2,800 , depending on experience. Job Description / Duties: Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures Prepare patients for procedures, including scheduling and pre-procedure instructions Operate nuclear medicine cameras and auxiliary imaging equipment following protocols Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to radiation safety regulations Demonstrate proficiency in all nuclear medicine procedures, including special positioning of patients Calibrate and prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for administration Calculate patient study results and account for radioactive decay Review instrument calibration data and report malfunctions Monitor physiological status and care of patients during procedures Maintain proficiency in IV line placement and proper injection techniques Track and manage inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and supplies Submit nuclear charge tickets for each patient procedure Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications used in nuclear medicine Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or physicians Education / Licensure / Certification Requirements: Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology Required: ARRT, NMTCB, or ASCP certification Required: California State License Required: American Heart Association BLS Certification Experience: New graduates welcome; 1-3 years of experience preferred About Rancho Mirage, CA: Nestled in the beautiful Coachella Valley, known for its desert landscapes and sunny weather Close to Palm Springs, offering golf courses, hiking trails, and luxury resorts Enjoy cultural attractions like the Palm Springs Art Museum and Agua Caliente Cultural Museum Outdoor activities include Joshua Tree National Park, biking, and horseback riding Vibrant dining and shopping scene with boutique stores, local markets, and fine dining Rich community events, including music festivals, art fairs, and local farmers markets About Connected Health Care Connected Health Care is a nationally recognized healthcare recruiting and staffing agency specializing in travel nursing, travel allied health, interim leadership, per-diem staffing, and permanent placement.
