POSITION OVERVIEW
Desert Champions is hiring for Seasonal Locker Room Staff. This position is responsible for the operation of the coach's, men's and women's locker rooms and all related duties.
All applicants for this position be available to work during the 2026 BNP Paribas Open Season
• Approximate start date will be between February and March
• Must adhere to an agreed upon, open availability from February 23, 2026, through March 15, 2026
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Manage and issue lockers and locker keys *
• Keep areas stocked with drinks, towels, and toiletry items *
• Keep areas free of debris, tennis balls, and towels *
• Return any found items to the practice desk *
• Assist players, coaches, and tour personnel with requests pertaining to the locker rooms, fitness center and the usage of those areas *
• Issue massage rooms and/or recovery room pods to players *
• Check out specialized equipment to players *
• Must have good customer service skills and enjoy working with others *
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Strong customer service experience

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
• California Workplace Harassment certification

• Ability to speak effectively with guests, vendors, and co-workers
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English, bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as print and web content
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
MATHMATIC ABILITY
• Ability to apply concept of basic math
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Basic computer literacy
• Telephone
• Time clock or Mobile App
