Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer (AWS / Angular & Python)

Who You Are and What You'll Do: Capstone Integrated Solutions is seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer with strong skills in Angular (frontend) and Python (backend) to contribute to the design and development of a cloud-native application hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer who can build high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions while collaborating with senior technical leads, QA engineers, and solution architects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend components using Angular and backend services using Python FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to microservices development.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure solutions align with overall system architecture and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with appropriate documentation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Support integration with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, etc.).
• Work with QA engineers to develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Stay current with new technologies and frameworks to bring continuous improvements to the development process.

Qualifications:

• 35 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions).
• Strong backend development experience with Python FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and integration.
• Familiarity with AWS services for application development and deployment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services, government).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, NIST, or FedRAMP.
• AWS Certification (Developer, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
• Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices design.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (PyTest, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
• Knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
• AWS certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate).
