Job Summary

We are seeking Respite Providers to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities may include assisting with hygiene needs, providing meals and snacks in the client's home and cleaning up after the client while in your care. Consumers may need help with homework if in school, reaching goals through physical outdoor play and activities. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Responsibilities (TBD)

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

Assist with mobility, walking, or using the bathroom

Prepare meals and snacks

Light housekeeping activities (only cleaning up after consumer, not family)

Provide companionship

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Respite Provider, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred

First aid and CPR-certified

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal spills

Ability to lift heaving objects
