This highly reputable, global insurance company is seeking Licensed Insurance Benefits Customer Care Counselor Consultants to support the increased volume over the next 6 months. The position is 100% remote and will require a scheduled work day. The scheduled work day is needed to cover the incoming insurance inquiries via calls, emails, and chats. Thorough training will be offered though you will need your active licenses listed above to be considered.
salary: $23 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities
- Utilize your mandatory active CA, MI, NY, IN, FL, and MA Life and Health Licenses along with at least 3 of these other states (NJ, OH, MD, PA, VA, or CT) to support incoming calls, chats, and emails inquiries and requests
- Work 100% from your home office with a set schedule knowing that you are being counted on to be reactive with incoming inquiries
- Document all interactions concisely and professionally in SalesForce
- Respond to a variety of standard to complex customer inquiries surrounding life and health insurance products and services
- Research customer inquiries
- Ensure proper follow up and resolution is provided and documented
- Respond formally to all correspondence,
- Learn and become well versed on all references materials available to you
- Toggle between multiple systems and reference materials needed to provide an accurate and educated response to the customer
- Request additional information from the customer
- Document client issues
- Escalate issues to appropriate parties to resolve
- Troubleshoot with the customer basic website and technical questions and issues
- Assist enrolling customers with various life and health products and in multiple different stages of the process
- Provide direction for payments and payment related questions to the customer
- Guide the customer with claim related processing inquiries
