Position Title: Senior Engineer - Tealeaf (Acoustic Experience Analytics)

Location: Remote, Virginia

Clearance Requirements: None required (unless otherwise specified at the task order level)

Position Status: Contract

Pay Rate: Competitive - based on experience

Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior Tealeaf Engineer with deep technical expertise in Acoustic Experience Analytics (Tealeaf) to design, implement, and optimize customer experience analytics solutions. This role involves leading Tealeaf implementation and administration, ensuring high replay fidelity, and providing actionable insights that drive digital transformation and business growth.

As a senior team member, you will play a key role in maintaining a scalable Tealeaf environment, collaborating across development and analytics teams, and driving continuous improvement in digital experience measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, upgrade, and patching of Tealeaf environments.
  • Configure and manage the Tealeaf data processing pipeline, including PCA, Canisters, Portal, and Replay Servers.
  • Implement and fine-tune Tealeaf analytics, including Events, Dimensions, Privacy Rules, and Replay Rules.
  • Troubleshoot replay fidelity issues and collaborate with web development teams to enhance capture accuracy.
  • Conduct data analysis and visualization to uncover actionable business insights from Tealeaf data.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (web, analytics, IT) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support cloud-based Tealeaf implementations and integrations with tools like Splunk.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality Tealeaf performance across multiple environments and projects.
Required Skills/Education:
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in Tealeaf implementation, configuration, and analytics (PCA, Canisters, Portal, Replay Server).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, JSON, web servers, cloud platforms).
  • Experience managing Tealeaf event and replay configurations with a focus on privacy and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills-able to translate technical insights into business value.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • (If degree is not in a related field, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted.)
  • 8-12 years of total professional experience in analytics, data engineering, or related disciplines.
Desired Skills:
  • Proven experience performing deep-dive Tealeaf data analysis and presenting actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure Tealeaf compatibility and optimize data capture.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and Acoustic (Tealeaf) Cloud deployments.
  • Experience integrating or monitoring with Splunk or similar observability tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams across time zones.
