Senior Full Stack Engineer - FinTech Start-Up

New York City | Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

I'm looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design and scale the next generation of integration and data platforms used by leading financialinstitutions and fintechs. This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of complex technical challenges, mentor others, and build features that have real impact in the market.

What you'll be working on

• Building and scaling systems that connect to external data sources and APIs
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape the technical roadmap
• Architecting, developing, testing, and deploying customer-facing features
• Working with a modern stack: TypeScript, React, Python (Django), Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS
• Delivering clean, reliable, and well-tested code
• Supporting and mentoring engineers in a collaborative, high-growth team

What you need

• 10+ years' experience building production-ready software
• Strong background with external APIs and large-scale data integrations
• Experience across both front-end and back-end projects
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React, Python (Django), Node.js, PostgreSQL
• Someone adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable leading technical discussions

Bonus points for:

• Experience with SDKs or developer productivity tools
• Background in fintech or financial services
