LHH is recruiting on a Senior Accountant position with a large and well known organization in Westlake, TX. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant that is ready to take the next step in their career by leading projects and supervising staff. The company is known for their great culture and world-class accounting department.
The salary range for this position is 95K-98K, plus performance bonus and offers 2 days work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries
- Prepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correct
- Partner with both internal and external auditors
- Work with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessary
- Ensure that GAAP compliance is met and maintained
- Prepare financial reporting packages for upper-level management
- Complete various ad-hoc projects when necessary
- Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- 3+ years' of working experience within public accounting or large corporate environment
- Advanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experience
- Proficient verbal and written communication
