Delivery Manager - Billing & Collections
Location: Remote (EMEA, LATAM, NORAM)

Role Summary

Lansweeper is transforming its global Quote-to-Cash and subscription management landscape. The Delivery Manager - Billing & Collections leads all Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) transformation initiatives, owning billing architecture, tax automation, integrations, and the systems that support invoicing, payment flows, collections, and revenue handoff.

This role does not own BAU operations. It focuses on change, system improvements, automation, compliance logic, and cross-functional delivery across all subsidiaries and billing models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, system administrators, and developers.
• Own prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery of all I2C system and automation enhancements.
• Drive delivery excellence across billing logic, payment processing, collections automation, tax calculation automation, and financial compliance projects.

2. Systems Ownership & Architecture

• Own the I2C systems landscape, coordinating with the NetSuite Lead and Integrations Specialist to ensure:
  
  • Stable, scalable integrations (Salesforce → Fonoa->ZAB →Avalara-> NetSuite → Banks /Adyen→ Finance).
  • Reliable operation of billing scripts, bundles, tax engines (Avalara), and payment gateways (Adyen, Cleverbridge).
• Architect cross-system logic related to tax calculation, jurisdiction mapping, VAT rules, and multi-country billing requirements.

3. Collections & Cash Management (Transformation Focus)

• Deliver automation for dunning, payment retries, cash application, refunds, and credit workflows.
• Implement tools and logic that reduce DSO and improve cash performance.

4. Tax Calculation Automation & VAT Returns (Systems Focus)

• Own tax calculation architecture across Zones, countries, and billing flows.
• Deliver improvements in VAT/GST logic, cross-border rules (reverse charge, exemptions), and tax engine updates.
• Lead technical enablement for compliant VAT return processes, ensuring systems produce accurate data for Finance and external advisors.
• Partner with Finance to ensure tax outputs, audit trails, and reporting meet regulatory expectations across all jurisdictions.

5. Revenue Handoff & Financial Compliance

• Ensure clean GL mapping, revenue element creation, and multi-book accuracy.
• Support Finance and FP&A with automated revenue workflows, usage reconciliation, and IFRS-aligned processes.
• Maintain SOX-aligned documentation and change control.

6. Customer Experience & Enablement

• Improve the financial customer journey: renewals, invoice delivery, billing updates, refunds, and credit processes.
• Support Digital, Assisted, and Enterprise sales motions by ensuring clean and consistent billing data.
• Drive adoption of self-service billing and tax-compliant invoicing capabilities.

• Stable integrations and automated billing/tax workflows with rapid issue resolution.
• Delivery of strategic initiatives such as:

  • Auto-charge / auto-renew
  • Tax calculation automation & VAT workflows
  • Payment gateway consolidation
  • IFRS-aligned revenue automation
  • Flexible billing for enterprise deals
• A high-performing, proactive I2C delivery team.
• Strong partnership with Finance, RevOps, Legal, Engineering, and Business Applications.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5-10 years' experience in Billing, Collections, Finance Ops, Tax Technology, or Q2C delivery in a SaaS/recurring revenue environment.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite, billing systems (ZoneBilling/Zuora/Chargebee/Maxio), tax engines (Avalara or similar), and payment gateways.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership in cross-functional delivery.

Nice-to-Have

• Multi-book (IFRS/GAAP) experience.
• Experience delivering automation and integrations using Workato, Celigo, APIs, or similar tools.
• Multi-entity / multi-currency and cross-border tax exposure.
• Exposure to Salesforce, revenue recognition, and digital sales flows.
