Summary:

The QA Auditor provides services on a national basis for the Trustee Services Business on defaulted loans through the non-judicial foreclosure process. The QA (Quality Assurance) Auditor is responsible for developing testing parameters for non-judicial foreclosure processesin trustee states, ensuring compliance with client expectation guidelines and SLAs. You may also need to train employees on quality standards. To ensure success as a quality auditor, you should possess in-depth knowledge of the non-judicial foreclosure process and extensive experience in quality control. An outstanding quality auditor will be someone whose quality assessment skills translate into processes and procedures of exceptional quality.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Developing and implementing quality control audit plans.
  • Identifying testing parameters for products.
  • Evaluating production stages and testing the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
  • Training employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting quality audit reports to senior management.
  • Keeping abreast of industry standards and regulations.
  • Additional tasks and projects as they may arise.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • At least three (3) years' experience as a quality auditor in a related industry.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the processing of non-judicial foreclosures is required.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Complexity:

Problems and issues faced are general, and require understanding of broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Require familiarity with the financial/mortgage industry. Problems require understanding of other job areas. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue.
