Contract to Hire | Hybrid Schedule

Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering consulting firm to hire a Structural Designer to support a wide range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on producing and revising structural drawings in collaboration with engineers, with exposure to both steel and concrete design across diverse project types.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise structural drawings for steel and concrete systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers to develop design documents from concept through construction
• Prepare plans, details, sections, and schedules using Revit
• Review and interpret shop drawings and coordinate comments with engineering teams
• Incorporate design changes and redlines efficiently and accurately
• Support multi-discipline consulting projects with varying scopes and timelines
• Maintain drawing quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards

• 2 to 8 years of structural design or drafting experience
• Strong Revit experience highly preferred
• Background supporting structural engineering consulting projects
• Experience with steel and concrete structural systems
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction documents
• Familiarity with structural codes and standards
• Experience with Advanced Steel and/or CadWorx (Steel) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with engineers
