Senior Software Engineer, AI and Scientific Systems

Hybrid in Manhattan
Relocation available
Compensation: $250,000 to $800,000 depending on level

About the Role

This group builds AI driven software used in scientific and computational environments. You will work across LLMs, deep learning, modeling workflows, automation, and high performance systems that support research teams.

What You Will Work On
• Building software that powers AI agents, retrieval systems, and generative tools
• Designing scalable systems and data pipelines for model training and scientific computing
• Integrating ML methods into complex modeling and simulation workflows
• Automating research processes and improving infrastructure efficiency
• Supporting scientific and ML teams through workflow scripting and troubleshooting

What You Bring
• Strong Python coding ability, with C or C++ exposure helpful
• Experience in one or more: LLMs, deep learning, HPC, cheminformatics workflows, scientific modeling software, agentic AI
• Comfort in Linux environments
• Ability to own complex engineering problems and collaborate with research partners
