Job Responsibilities
Knowledge of common US commercial banking applications (Bottomline DBIQ, Q2 Commercial and Retail, FIS D1C (formerly DFT UOB), Backbase, Fiserv online banking solutions etc.) Hands-on experience is preferred.
Should understand typical integrations that a commercial banking application has (Core, Reporting, Payment Rails, Checking services, Fraud/AML, Bill Pay, Positive Pay etc.)
Should have basic understanding of common US based payment rails - ACH, Wires, Real Time Payments etc.), typical data flows, approval workflows etc.
Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies and processes
Extensive Experience in using different Test Case Design techniques (Equivalence Class Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Tables, State Transition, etc.), Test Case Writing and Test Case Execution
Awareness of test management tools usage and defect tracking systems
Ability to take ownership to identify and resolve issues, towards successful conclusions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to interact with clients and manage client expectations.
ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
B.E. / B.Tech./ BCA / MCA / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT
Require minimum of 5-6 years' experience in Software Testing (Manual Testing preferrable)
Require minimum of 2 years' experience in Banking domain (Commercial Banking)
Corporate/Commercial Banking, Retail/Consumer Banking experience is a must. (Do not require experience in Trade Finance, Credit Unions, Shares, Mutual Funds, etc.)
