Caregiver Needed in Anza - Pet-Friendly Home

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a client in Anza, CA. This is a pet-friendly household with dogs and cats, so comfort around animals is essential. The client is also a smoker, so applicants must be comfortable working in a smoking environment.
Job Details

• Location: Anza, California
• Environment: Smoking household with dogs and cats
• Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Mobility Support: Standby to moderate assist; fall risk; uses a 4-wheel walker
• ADL Assistance: Support with bathing, toileting, dressing, and transfers
• Meals & Meds: Prepare lunch and dinner; provide medication reminders; open bottles as needed
• Exercise: Encourage walking/sitting exercises and follow PT instructions
• Companionship: Engage through music, TV, and meaningful conversation
• Transportation: Drive client in her car as needed (PT on Tuesdays/Thursdays)
• Pet Care: Feed/water pets, clean litter box, ensure doors are secure
• Housekeeping:
  
  • Daily: Make bed, do laundry, tidy up, clean kitchen and bathroom
  • Weekly: Vacuum, clean fridge, manage trash and bins

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile or reliable transportation
