Position: School Psychologist
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 36 weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $65/Hr, based on experience

Job Description:
As a School Psychologist, you will be integral in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to assess and provide interventions for students experiencing learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Your role will contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, fostering student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students with learning and behavioral challenges.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement tailored intervention plans.
• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Offer consultation and recommendations to support staff in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive student outcomes.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and psychological support during emergency situations.
• Stay current with the latest trends, research, and best practices in school psychology.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Arizona State Certification or License as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in a school setting, particularly with diverse student populations, is preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
