Our Newest Opportunity:

The Commercial Support Specialist (CSS) provides high-level remote support to the Commercial Lines new business and sales team, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective clients, Risk Advisors and OneDigital Client Relations Managers (CRMs) and Client Experience Managers (CEMs). This role accelerates new business workflows by supporting submission preparation, coordinating marketing activity, managing documentation, and delivering timely, accurate service that ensures a seamless transition to the service team.

Operating under OneDigital's "People First" values, the CSS contributes to a collaborative, client-centric environment that enhances our ability to deliver outstanding commercial insurance solutions nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business & Sales Support

  • Assist CRMs and Risk Advisors in all stages of the new business process, including gathering underwriting information, preparing applications, compiling submission materials, and coordinating marketing with carrier partners.
  • Support the team in organizing new business meetings, virtual presentations, sales follow-ups, and required documentation.
  • Prepare materials for new business stewardship or finalist meetings, including scheduling, assembling digital documents, and coordinating remote meeting logistics.
Client & Internal Service Support
  • Serve as a remote liaison to internal teams, clients, and carrier partners, ensuring timely communication and a superior client experience.
  • Process service-related transactions (certificates, endorsements, claims, cancellations, bonds, etc.) with accuracy, professionalism, and detailed documentation in Applied Epic.
  • Respond to client and CRM inquiries by gathering information, preparing schedules, assisting with audits, and providing summaries of insurance or policy data as needed.
  • Maintain clear digital communication flow to keep team members informed and aligned on client and sales activities.
Remote Work Expectations
  • Utilize virtual tools to effectively collaborate with CRMs, Risk Advisors, and carrier partners across multiple locations.
  • Maintain organized digital records and follow internal workflows that support virtual communication, productivity, and transparency.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Professional Growth & Collaboration
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and new insurance products to support effective sales and client service.
  • Participate in continuous training, professional development, and technology learning to enhance performance.
  • Offer insights on process improvements and contribute positively to a remote team culture.
Qualifications & Work Experience:
  • Prefer four-year college degree or 2+ years' experience in insurance or similar industry.
  • Prefer P&C insurance license or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment and maintained throughout the course of employment.
  • Demonstrated and proven ability in account management and client service.
  • P & C Commercial insurance coverage knowledge.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems - Applied Epic experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a digital, remote environment.
  • Strong written communication-clear, concise, and professional in email and digital communication.

  • Adaptable to evolving technology, digital workflows, and changing market conditions.
  • Self-starter with high levels of initiative, organization, and follow-through.
Remote Work & Physical Requirements:
  • This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel for team meetings, training, or client needs.
  • Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable broadband internet.
  • Must be able to remain in a seated or standing position for most of the workday.
  • Frequent use of computer systems, videoconferencing, and other digital office equipment.
  • Typical work occurs in a virtual environment using company-provided remote work tools.


Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
