Model N Flex Project Lead - QA, SFO, USA

Contract

100% remote
Role Summary:
Provide end-to-end leadership for Model N Flex programs within the Pharma Access landscape (ASPIRE S4 HANA Upgrade, Flex Cloud Migration, GP 7.10 Upgrade). The Project Lead ensures delivery excellence, compliance, and operational stability across Commercial, Medicaid, and Government Pricing processes integrated with SAP S/4 HANA and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own planning → deployment lifecycle for Model N Flex initiatives, including system upgrades, cloud modernization, and SAP integrations.
  • Define and manage release scope, deliverables, risk / RAID logs, test governance, and hyper-care transition.
  • Oversee QA and Dev teams through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile).
  • Lead validation of core business workflows - Chargebacks, Rebates, Government Pricing, Medicaid.
  • Review and approve Test Plans, Traceability Matrices, Release Notes per Genentech validation standards.
  • Facilitate defect triage / root-cause analysis meetings with Scrum and Product teams to ensure closure before release.
  • Ensure GxP and SOX compliance; maintain audit-ready documentation in Confluence and ServiceNow.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and mentor Scrum teams on best practices and automation adoption.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10 + years overall IT experience with 6 + years in Model N Flex program delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of Model N modules (GP, RM, DRM, MDM, Validata).
  • Proven leadership of SAP R3→S/4 HANA upgrades and AWS Cloud migrations.
  • Expertise in SDLC, Agile, and Validation Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong SQL / PLSQL and Oracle background for data validation and issue triage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
